Product Information
Kiln dried Oak firewood logs are a slow and steady burn. Suitable for woodburners, firepits, stoves, chimineas and other appliances. The oak logs are cut, split and kiln-dried
Kiln dried Oak logs are used in the colder and darker months, oak is a popular choice for its incredibly long burn duration. Oak logs have a high density. This means that they have a high calorific value that generates more heat while burning more slowly – ideal for overnight use. Please note that the high density makes oak harder to light. We recommend that you use Kindling and natural firelighters when burning oak for effortless fire lighting.

Woodsure Ready To Burn
What Is Ready To Burn?
Woodsure Ready To Burn initiative is a government backed scheme, designed to allow consumers to know the Firewood they are buying is suitable for immediate use. Freshly cut or unseasoned wet wood contributes significantly to high levels of particulate emissions leading to issues around poor air quality. Conversely burning dry wood has significant and demonstrable benefits in greatly reduced emissions and increased heat.
Charlie’s Logs is a adopters of the Ready To Burn initiative, which ensures that the wood provided has a moisture content of <20%. All of our Bagged & loose Firewood as well as our Heat Logs and smokeless coal ranges have the Ready To Burn accreditation.
