Kiln dried birch firewood logs are a user-friendly wood fuel for your woodburner, stove, firepit, chiminea, wood fired pizza oven or wood fired hot tub.
Birch is a light orange colour hardwood, with its thin paper-like bark which is easier to light. Birch logs quickly products high heat to reach the desired heat levels, you can achieve that crispy pizza base and experience luxurious warmth within a short amount of time.

The low moisture content of our Kiln Dried wood ensures it is easier to light, produces more heat than traditionally seasoned firewood and burns hotter and cleaner for longer.

Certifications & Accreditations
The Ready to Burn certification mark is available to wood log suppliers who can demonstrate to Woodsure that their logs have a moisture content below 20%. The scheme has the backing of Defra, HETAS and the Stove Industry Alliance and is focused on both pre-packed wood fuel, Heat Logs and Smokeless coal less than 2m3. What Is Ready To Burn?
Woodsure Ready To Burn initiative is a government backed scheme, designed to allow consumers to know the Firewood they are buying is suitable for immediate use. Freshly cut or unseasoned wet wood contributes significantly to high levels of particulate emissions leading to issues around poor air quality. Conversely burning dry wood has significant and demonstrable benefits in greatly reduced emissions and increased heat.
Charlie’s Logs is a adopters of the Ready To Burn initiative, which ensures that the wood provided has a moisture content of <20%. All of our Bagged & loose Firewood as well as our Heat Logs and smokeless coal ranges have the Ready To Burn accreditation.
